Eileen Gorsh, AGACNP-BC
Eileen earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Seton Hall University in 2009 graduating Magna Cum Laude with induction into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She was accepted into the Nurse Residency program at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ and began working as a newly graduated nurse in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care (a AACN Beacon Gold award winning unit for Nursing Excellence). During her time in the Cardiac Surgery ICU, her role expanded to include Relief Charge Nurse and Primary Preceptor for the Nurse Residency Program. In 2013, she participated in a medical mission with CardioStart International to provide cardiac surgery and post-operative care for adults and adolescents in the underserved community of Arequipa, Peru.
After earning her graduate degree from Rutgers University College of Nursing, Eileen went on to work with the nurse practitioner-run Cardiology Service at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital caring for complex patients in the coronary care unit, telemetry, and heart attack teams. Then, during her time at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ she provided care in the electrophysiology outpatient clinic gaining special experience in arrhythmias and devices.
Eileen joined Cardiology Associates of New Brunswick in 2019 and is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care.
Her outside interests include spending time with family, cooking, traveling, and hiking.
